Miguelito Dávila is a young man with a restless soul and only one kidney. Soon he begins to harbour the hope of becoming a poet. But dreaming is easy and living is difficult. During the summer which is to mark the end of innocence, Miguelito and his friends take their experiences with sex, friendship, violence or love to the limit between sunbathing and summer storms. They know that very soon they will have to take the path which will make them into heroes or shadows, which will let them reach the end of the world. And they ask themselves what there is at the other side of the “Camino de los Ingleses”.
